Portrait Orientation Lock button is missing

Recently (within the last month) my iPhone no longer switches to Landscape viewing. It may have happened with an upgrade. At any rate, it seems I need to access the Portrait Orientation Lock button in the Control Center. However, I cannot find that button there. I've tried following several suggestions but none seem to work.
