macOS Monterey 12.5 and trackpad issues still persisting
So, I just installed MacOS 12.5 and to my annoyance the trackpad issues that where introduced with macOS 10.0 still not have been resolved/fixed:
I know , these are not the most common features, but hey, if they are offered they should work properly.
Issue No. 1 - Tap To Click:
If tap to click is enabled you almost never can use it in conjunction with Shift/Option/Cmd or other secondary keys.
So Cmd + Tap on a link only will open the link after 3-4 tries.
Same goes for Shift + Tap for selecting file-ranges in Finder. Also will only select them after a few tries.

Issue No. 2 - Erratic cursor behavior:
If zoom is enabled in the accessibility options (e.g. by using the trackpad and the Ctrl key) the cursor will often just jump to the bottom left of the screen.
Has already been discussed here:
Cursor jumps to bottom, left corner of my… - Apple Community
It got even worse in 10.5: If you enabled active corners in the system preferences and go to the upper left corner, the cursor will almost immediately jump to the lower left corner.
All this can be "fixed" by deactivating the mouse zoom feature in the accessibility settings, but I actually really like this feature.
So please Apple: Fix this basic problems! We are already five iterations into this!
