I have lost my password for my Apple Watch, the very first edition that was produced. I have tried the suggestions… pressing the side button until the screen to turn off the watch pops up and then hold the Digital Crown until it asks if u would like to erase all data…. The last part never happens? I have tried multiple times. I have accidentally unpaired the watch from my phone? I would like to get working so my Mom can use it as a basic watch?

Remove the Activation Lock Here.
Or this;
If you can't remember/gain access to the apple id that paired the watch to the phone.Take the watch and it's receipt with the serial number along with some photo id and any other proof of ownership to an Apple Store and request that they remove the Activation Lock for you.
