When I try to download a new app I get a message about double clicking here, but I can’t do it.

Do the problem is the the double-click image is at the side of the screen and isn’t really visible, so I can’t click on it.
do you think that you're having trouble doing a double click fast enough?
If so, you could try going to Settings > Accessibility > Side Button and try Slow or Slowest to see if it helps
My issue was freeze up have to get support hold power button three times fast and hold and home button same time till Apple logo ad turns off and then it will be fixed
I finally figured out that I was supposed to double click the side button! Duh! I was used to just using my fingerprint. Thanks for the suggestion!
