I've seen items mostly music that i've purchased in the past have disappeared from my library. But i've also seen an Audiobook that i've purchased is not available anymore in my library and is available for purchase again as if i never bought it. and I can't seem to find it anywhere in my purchase history.

Do you have multiple Apple IDs? If so, did you recently sign out and sign into a different Apple ID? We ask because purchased are tied to the Apple ID you purchased them from. Take a look under the "Redownload music in the iTunes Store app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" section on how to redownload music:
