Can’t close numeric keyboard to hit the “Next” button..

Hi, sometimes there is a numerical keyboard in certain applications that pops up with no way to close it. Are there any work around for this?

In this instance the Chipotle app is asking for a one time passcode. Once I click on the text box to input the number, there is no way to close the keyboard that pops up, and therefore no way to click “Verify” to continue signing in.

Is this an issue with the app or and iOS issue? Is there a way I can work around to get to the “Verify” button!”?
