I am having an issue with receiving verification codes on my iPhone 13. My software is 15.5, my carrier (AT&T) is not blocking these types of texts, and I have tried all of the earlier suggestions. Is there something new that has been discovered on this issue. Thanks for any help provided.

From whom are these expected - but not received - verification codes originating?
Apple (i.e. AppleID 2FA Verification Codes) ...
... or other entities (e.g. Banking or Shopping web sites) being sent via SMS to your mobile phone number?
1) Toggled Airplane on/off
2) Cleared all blocked calls
3) Check phone number texts are coming to
4) Reset carrier settings
5) Removed sim while phone was on
6) Hard reset
nothing works. SMS texts from banks, retail sites, etc and none come through. Only Apple and AT&T sms texts make it through.
So these are texts such as verification codes, codes to verify your identify for a website or email, etc.? In Settings>Messages>Filter Unknown Senders is not turned on? Did AT&T reset your SMS provisioning? Contact their support and see if they can do a reset on your account provisioning.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro on iOS 15.5 with AT&T. I do not have any issues with verification texts. Are these for a particular app or website? Not knowing what you mean by 'I have tried all of the earlier suggestions', it would help to know what you have done, so there is no duplication.
