Apple Music Gets Quiet In The Same Spot

I am having an interesting problem with Apple Music. So, when I got into my old car and connected my music to Bluetooth, I would get about a half a mile up the road before the audio would become very quiet and staticky. It would stay like this for about 2 minutes before returning to normal. Also, it would do this when I got to about 100 yards before turning into my driveway until I placed the car in park. However, I bought a new car, which is CarPlay compatible (2017 Chevrolet Malibu.) Initially, my phone (iPhone 11) would not connect to CarPlay at all. However, since updating my phone, CarPlay began working. Despite my optimism, the issue with the audio has remained persistent. I again tested this with another CarPlay compatible vehicle and it did the same thing, ruling out a vehicle exclusive problem. I have tried all of the basic solutions (forgetting device on both the vehicle head unit and iPhone, resetting both devices, gently cleaning the charging area, using an Apple branded charger, etc.) These methods were to no avail. Any ideas or tips on resolving the issue? Thanks in advance.
