Star Micronics' TSP654II AirPrinter splitting receipts into two pages when airprinting

https://star-emea.com/products/tsp654ii-airprint/

I work for an SaaS company that uses the subject-mentioned Apple certified printer to be used with Airprinting. We've run into an issue where when clients are printing receipts from our platform, the receipt is getting split into two separate pieces of paper - often times cutting off a line item. Wondering if anyone uses this printer and has had similar issues, or if there is anyone at Apple that might know how to circumvent that?

The printer drivers are provided by the printer vendor.

Check with the vendor for printer firmware updates, then check with the printer vendor.

Failing that, rework your app to send less data and/or send a smaller font, same as happens with weird printer behavior since time immemorial, or replace these printers with ones that better meet your needs.

Cutting off a line sure seems like a printer driver pagination bug though, and the drivers are firmware based and provided by the printer vendor.

Or the printer page length setting somehow isn’t correct, of course; wrong-length forms loaded, or wrong page length assumption in the printer drivers.

And for completeness, if this is an AirPrint bug, the printer vendor is still in the best position to work with Apple to sort that.
