Elevation on compass

I don't see the elevation on the compass. Both apple watch (series 7) and iphone 11 shows 0m elevation...and I live on the last floor of a building of 10 floors, location services are on, I tried already to unpair and pair again the watch but didn't help. The compass seems working it's just elevation that is bad..now for example, after I repaired the watch it says "-1 M +/- 50m". My partner apple watch 6 instead says 42m.

Do you know how to fix it?

Thank you

Apple Watch Series 7

Hi L4ch3si,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Make sure that your Compass app has permission to see your precise location since that is what will be used to determine elevation. You can enable that from Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Compass. Further information can be found in Control the location information you share on iPhone - Apple Support and Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Take care.
