Bought a Macbook Air with the new Education Promotion, launched today, and the gift card was charged

Hello lads,

Bought a M2 Macbook Air with the Education Promotion that was launched today. The promotion says that there will be the education discount, as usual, close to 8% + a gift card of 120 Pounds.

However, my card was charged the value of the gift card, and the value for the macbook will be charged when posted as usual.

Anyone had the same issue?? If the GIFT CARD is charged and there is no refund, then it is a sum ZERO game, therefore there is no discount AT ALL.

The gift card is just a gimmick to make me spent an extra 120 bucks and not a advantage.

Thanks for reaching out, Telcks.

It sounds like you have some billing concerns with a recent purchase. We can help.

Keep in mind that Apple Support Communities are primarily a user-to-user forum, and that you're not addressing Apple's billing team here.

If you think you have been billed incorrectly, you can reach out to Apple's Online Store team here: Store.

They will be in the best position to look into the charges with you.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
