The delete X is not coming up

My MacBook Air when pressing the delete button will not let me delete certain applications

Some built in apps can not be deleted.

3rd party apps that came from outside of the Mac App Store will have to be manually deleted or uninstalled.

Can not delete applications! MacBook Air M1 Ventura Tonight I upgraded to an M1 MacBook Air (Ventura) from my older Intel MacBook Pro (Monterey), and I can NOT delete apps (non-iLife/non-mandatory Apple) on the new Mac like I could on my older Mac.
