How to create an Apple ID for my 13-years old child?

Hello and good day to you! Today my 13-years old child became an owner of iPhone 12. I was thinking that after creating 2 Apple IDs so far (mine and my wife’s) this one would be as easy as well. But I was wrong!

I’m still unable to do that. My child’s phone asks for a parent or guardian ID to be entered first. But the problem is that the phone says that my Apple ID or password are incorrect (which is not true). I tried with my wife’s ID and password as well but the same result. Obviously there is a problem with accepting our Apple accounts for some reason.

Has anyone faced such problem? Thank you!

If they are 13 years old, they don't need a child Apple ID.

If 13 years old or older.

Apple ID - create a new.

Apple ID – Create

If under 13 years old, you will need to set up Family Sharing to create an ID.

Family Sharing and Apple ID for your child.

If they are 13 years old, they don't need a child Apple ID.

So it remains only to convince the phone about that?! Because nevertheless it has a different opinion. My child’s birth date is 25.02.2009, which is definitely more than 13 years until now. But the phone requires a parrent ot guardian to log first anyway….
