requesting details for apple pay.
Think this is phishing/spam as I dont use apple pay or have an account.
Can anyone confirm the number or otherwise?

Do not interact with unknown senders. Do not click links, attachments or provide any information.
Apple will never ask you for any information over text or email. If you need to talk to Apple Support, you always go directly to apple.com or Official Apple Support (support.apple.com).
Delete and block the number.
