One of my relations who lives in the USA gifted me with a Mac Mini Aluminium Unibody 1.4 GHz Dual Core i5 (Late 2014) (Product code MGEM2LL/A-4-500).
The power cable reflects 2.5A 125V and in Sri Lanka electricity contents with 230 volts.
Please explain whether I can directly plug in the Mac mini to the power supply or do I need to use a power adaptor to reduce 230 volts to 125 volts.

Ignore the ratings on the Apple-supplied power cable, just use a plug adapter & you should be all set.

Yes you can, the mini consumes far less current than what it’s cable’s rated for, while it’s power supply adapts to 230V automatically. You’ll need a plug adapter, that’s all.
