Garage band

My friend has passed away and we’d use his phone for garage band, the songs are mine and I have the copyright but I can’t access them now as the garage band was on his phone with his Apple ID. How do I get access to the account now as I don’t have his phone now and I have downloaded garage band but it’s to my Apple ID not his. Any advice I’d be grateful thanks
