Incorrect tab icons in iPhone Safari

On my iPhone 11 running iOS 15.5 the tab icon for Facebook shows as a Fox News icon. Not a huge deal except I hate Fox. Any ideas how to fix it?

No icon for safari in my iphone 13 max I have never used safari on my iPhone 13 max. There isn't an icon for it even. I went to the app list on the phone and found safari and clicked on it to use it and instead of opening safari it went to app.adjust.com and showed me a screen with a download app button. Is this a virus or should I click it. Any help would be appreciated.

Favorites icons in Safari showing as grey blocks iPad Mini5, 64gb, 18.4.1. Today on the Favorites screen, as seen in the screenshot below, all the icons are showing as grey blocks with a letter or number inside, instead of as regular color icons appropriate to the site. Same with the Suggestions. At one point, maybe half of the icons came back as usual, but later it was back to full grey. I tried powering down a couple of times. Any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix it?

Hello spike212,

You may wish to try clearing the history/cookies/website data out from Safari, and see if that helps out.

This page helps to go over the steps needed: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

This will generally also sign you out from websites, as a note, so be sure that any needed passwords/usernames are saved.
