How can I recover my passcode without losing my pictures
On my iPhone X in middle of day, the face id would not recognize my face and the passcode could not be recognized. What do I do, I do not want to lose my pictures.

There is nothing else you can do, you will need to restore your phone. Hopefully you made backups of your photos.
