I used to be able to choose to install things for all users or just me, i would always choose just this user because otherwise you need admin password. But now, it simply skips over the Destination Select pane and goes straight to install. any way to fix this?
Is the Application going to make System Wide Modification once installed ?
Much like installing Monterey & Big Sur - this must be installed from the Admin Account of this computer that has full privileges.
Is this account in question a Standard Account with Restrictions imposed by the Admin of this computer ?

It may be designed that way. Not all apps give all possible options.
I suggest you contact the developers and ask them.
