Apple Watch inaccurate sleep tracking

Hi everyone, I just bought my first Apple Watch, it’s the series 7. I’m having trouble with the sleep tracker. It’s really inaccurate, I’m currently breastfeeding and I wake up throughout the night but it’s not tracking when I’m awake. Also in the morning if I wake up and go back to sleep it won’t track it either. I was using the Fitbit before and it was pretty accurate compared to the Apple Watch. I expected the Apple Watch to be way better at sleep tracking than the Fitbit considering the Apple Watch price! I’m really disappointed. Is anyone else experiencing the same? How do you keep track of your sleep with the Apple Watch? What apps are there out there?
