Notability notes will not download from iCloud

Hi my notes will not download from iCloud on my ipad. I have reliable wifi, I've tried to turn on and off my device, and I have deleted apps to make more storage. I also have 200 GB in iCloud so I'm really not sure why this is a repeating issue for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I need to access my notes for school/work so this issue is extremely frustrating and inconvenient.


The message I get from Notability is" "Unable to open note Please wait for the notes to complete downloading from iCloud before opening it".


It takes FOREVER to download (I'm talking days) please help

We can see why this is an issue for you, so we'd love to help. The fact that the Notes are still downloading (even if very slowly) is a good sign, so let's look as possible issues with the iPad. As with all unexpected iPad behavior, try taking the following steps which may help with this: restart your iPad, make sure it is up to date, close the Notes app, then reopen it and make sure all apps are updated.



It would also be good to narrow this down to a single note, or see if it happens with all of them. Also try this while connected to a different Wi-Fi network, even if this one seems to be working fine.
