iPhone13 USB connection to Toyota Camry 2018

A couple years ago, Toyota updated its infotainment software to allow CarPlay, but it did not work over bluetooth and required a lightning to USB (2.0?) adapter. I've since upgraded my iPhone 11 to a 13, but my adapter cables no longer work. Has anyone had luck finding a conversion to get CarPlay working?

CarPlay does not work over Bluetooth. Vehicles that support wireless CarPlay are few and far between and are just starting to be more plentiful. The Toyota should have a USB-A port somewhere that is designed to be used for CarPlay. Your Toyota dealer should be able to identify that if you cannot find it in the Owner's manual. A USB-A to lightning cable should work, so long as you are plugged into the correct port. You may have to initially remove the car from your CarPlay list and start over with the new phone.
