iOS adding unwanted spaces on paste

• Select “text” in App A; tap “Copy”

• Paste text into App B; get “ text”

Was that space in the text I copied? Why, no! No, it was not!

Do I want that space? Again, no.

It is massively annoying to have to go back and remove the space manually with my stubby peasant fingers, so how does one turn off this “feature”?

Hello Mr Larrington,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand an extra space is added when you copy and paste on your device. Please review the following resource to confirm you're taking the appropriate steps to copy and paste: Select, cut, copy, and paste text on iPad - Apple Support

If the issue persists, tell us more about what you're experiencing. Does this issue occur with multiple apps? When did this begin? Be sure to include any troubleshooting steps that you may have tried.

Cheers!
