I cannot sign in to my Apple ID because it would not accept my password . So I asked to reset the password then it asked for my four number code which I don’t have ! It used to be easy to rest but now I’m in a loop between my iPhone and my husband’s! Help please

If you don't receive the passcode on another device connected to your account, try resetting through iforgot.apple.com. Enter your Apple ID. Then select the option to reset your password and choose Continue.
Choose to answer your security questions, get an email, or (only if you set it up in the past) enter your Recovery Key. Then follow the onscreen steps to reset your password.
