Apple Pencil strokes not showing on procreate

My Apple Pencil has suddenly started to not show me it’s strokes on a Procreate Canvas.

I can use the Undo button and it will notify me that it is erasing the strokes but nothing is showing on the canvas.

Pencil works to select items within procreate and will show strokes in other apps such as notes.

opacity is not turned on.

have reconnected the Bluetooth.

tip is on firmly on the brush.

anything else I can try?
