I received my Mac Studio M1 max and I have a problem with my external display.
When I connect in HDMI (HDMI output on the Mac) my LG 32UN500, the display frequency available in the Mac settings remains blocked at 30Hz maximum.
I did the same thing using an LG 27UL550 screen and I can see the 50Hz option.
My hypothesis is that the problem comes from the 32" screen. Do you know how to get around this problem?

You can test a short Premium Certified HDMI cable, but keep in mind that HDMI has limited resolution and refresh rate
Or optionally get a 4K or better USB-C to DisplayPort cable, which should supply both higher resolutions and refresh rates.
Keep in mind the studio specs state that it only supports HDMI @ 60hz with a DVI adaptor.

I tried and it’s works during 5sec.. I switched to Deep Color then I saw 50Hz on the max then the screen went to black.

I bought a usb c to DisplayPort cable.

Now I see 30hz or 60hz… not 50hz.
