how to change security questions?

I have been receiving emails about signing in with an apple ID that I don't seem to remember creating. It seems legit and uses one of my not so active email accounts. in any case, I managed to go in and change the password, but I am not able to complete the sign in due to the security questions. Is there a way to change them? Ultimately, I would like to delete this Apple ID altogether.

For the security questions, if you are being told there isn't enough information to reset them, contact Apple ID Support.


If you don't know the answers, if the steps in the article below don’t work, contact Apple ID Support, although based on multiple posts I have read, they will not help you recover the answers to your security questions.
