I am learning to play piano and want to connect an external USB camera to do overhead view of my piano when I'm playing. I can't find any solution. Weird I can connect an external microphone, but not a camera.
Can this be done?

Sorry, but what you are attempting to achieve is not possible.
While you can connect a camera to your iPad (or iPhone) to transfer images from camera/card storage, your iPad does not natively support direct video input from a connected camera.

if the camera spc. that it supports it, the right connector is rarely enough a device driver (software) is required to "speak" with the stuff you connect.
