my new JBL flip 6 is not showing up on my MacBook Pro. Any clues?

I just bought a JBL flip 6(Bluetooth speaker) and it is not showing up as a bluetooth device on my MacBook Pro. Any ideas why?

I can't connect my bluetooth speaker I just got a new Macbook Air and I now can't connect to my Ultimate Ears Wonderboom bluetooth speakers. It doesn't show up and the bluetooth connection just spools.

new iOS not connecting to bluetooth MacBook Pro Ever since Sonoma 14.0, I cannot successfully link to bluetooth devices. I have tried everything recommended. The speaker will give a sound signal that it is connected, and my computer will list it as connected, but no sound is transmitted.

The most common reason something doesn't appear in Bluetooth settings is it was not put in pairing mode per the manufacturers directions. Did you put it in pairing mode?
