Excuse me, I want to know that Ipad Air 5 transfers VGA or HDMI to the projector. Can the sound be broadcast from the iPad itself?

When using HDMI, both video and audio will be passed over the HDMI connection. iPad of any model cannot independently route audio to an alternative interface.

VGA carries only the video signal - and does not support audio.
