iPad mini 6 not charging

iPadOS 15.6 includes an explicit fix for iPad mini6 charging issues. Ensure that you have updated to this version.

What do you do if the iPad is now dead and wont charge? There is no way to get the update to the device?

Hey it was confirmed that it was a 15.5 problem (https://appleinsider.com/inside/ipad-mini-6) I had a feeling it was a software problem because in 15.3 and 15.4 never had the problem also... Updating to 15.6 should fix it

same thing is happening they keep saying it's a hardware issue but it's not it's a software issue. They wanted to charge me 350 dollars to "fix" it because of the itty bitty dent on the corner. Forums are saying even if you get a new battery put in it still won't fix.

I’ve done 2 factory resets/restore and multiple “ normal” shut down/resets. This solution lasts about 3 days then the iPad will no longer charge again until I factory reset or soft reset.
