A deleted contact's birthday is still showing up on my birthday calendar.

A deleted contact's birthday is still showing up on my birthday calendar. I deleted this contact on all devices and iCloud but it is still on my birthday calendar.

Thanks so much for this tip. I did find an old email for this contact and I trashed it but it did not solve the issue on my iMac computer calendar. I also re started my system.

Hi Bjmaxwell55,

We understand that your calendar shows events for a deleted contact. Does the contact remain in any email accounts you have saved on your device? If your calendar is synced with your email accounts, the contacts birthday can appear through it.

MY iPhone and iPad do not have the deleted contact in their birthdays. The calendar event is only on my iMac hard drive. When I go to the birthday's on that day and try to delete that record it tells me I must go to my contacts to remove her information. I deleted her from all contacts many weeks ago.

Let's try a few simple fixes, try quitting the Calendar app. Then relauch it: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

If not, are you able to delete the Birthday reminder in the Calendar app? You should be able to go to the event, then scroll down to "Delete Event".
