I cannot get the latest update to download and install I keep getting an error message

The newest update for iOS will not download on my iPad. I keep getting an error message. I have been trying to get it downloaded for about a week now.

You have asked us to guess, among other things:

  • The contents of the error message
  • The iPad model and vintage
  • Its current iPadOS version
  • The method you’re using to download the update (e.g., Wi-Fi)
