Scan with Canon MG8250 on Monterey
Canon does not support their MG8250 multifunction printer for Monterey onward. On my new M1 MacBook Pro, it will still print, but scanning is no longer available (works under Big Sur on my intel Mac). The MG8250 is AirPrint capable. How do I set up printing and scanning to use AirPrint and bypass the Canon drivers?
If I delete the printer and re-add it, I get "Canon MG8200 series" (kind "Bonjour") as the only option, and that auto-fills "Canon MG8200 series" under "Use", so it is presumably using Canon drivers. There is no option to choose AirPrint. Can it be chosen or enabled?
