Iphone 13 PRO IOS 15.5 - can't select transition in iMovie

Hi,

I think it's a software bug - I just can't select transition between clips to change it. Clicking on transition icon not responding at all.... On my older iPhone 8 works fine.

I've deleted iMovie app and installed again - no difference. IOS update dto latest 15.5 version.

Any advice and solutions here?

Cannot change transitions in iMovie on the iPhone 13 Pro Using the magic movie template, I added all my clips, but I can't change the transitions. Nothing happens when I click on them. According to the iMovie user guide, you can 'completely customize your movie' using a Magic Movie Project. I noticed that Apple does not address this issue when asked by other people. It just kind of gets ignored. Usually, when a company does not address an issue, the reason is that it's a bug with the software - not working as designed, at least based on the documentation. So if you want to control the clip transitions, then redo your movie using the normal movie project and the transitions will work there. On behalf of Apple, I apologize to all the people who wasted hours messing around trying to figure out transitions in Magic Movie project, because your time is valuable. Cheers

iMovie on iPad won't transition to a different photo I am using iMovie version 3.0.5 on my iPad with iOS 18.2. I am trying to make a movie in iMovie. When I add multiple pictures, it will only show the first photo. It will not transition into the new picture in edit mode or just playing it from the project list. When I manually move the play line, it will transition, but when I hit the play button, it will not. I have added different types of transitions, deleted transitions, and it still will only show the first picture. I've never experienced this issue before. Is there something that needs to be updated in the app?

Ok I did some research - older version [2.3.2 (5087)] of iMovie works fine - checked on iPhone 8 too. When I've updated to latest version [3.0 5515] it changed layout, way of edit movie -in short new GUI then it stopped to works!!! So that's the the issue. Latest version is broken. Dunno if it's not compatible with latest IOS 15.5 or itself it's broken. Please investigate
