Does every person in family sharing get their own amount of storage ?
if i share icloud storage with family, does everyone get their own amount of gigs?

Every one shares the whole thing. But their data is private as it is tied to their AppleID and only someone who can login with that AppleID can access the data.
But there is no quota allocation, so one person could use all the storage.
