Overheating

My iPhone has been overheating even if I do minimum use. It gets very hot, I’ve taken off its case but it’s still the same. Why does it happen and how can I fix it??

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14

See this support article:--> If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch gets too hot or too cold - Apple Support

If you still get no help, for your peace of mind I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
