ipod shuffle will not accept music from my laptop
i cannot load songs onto my ipod shuffle from my laptop?

The iPod says to use iTunes to sync to iPod but I don’t know how because I’ve tried for hours with no success.I use a HP laptop it’s 3 yes old?
