excessive data usage by ios15

New iPhone SE 3rd gen AND older 2nd gen with ios15.5 both suddenly using up data by the hour that used to take a month.. What is going on??

Go to Settings/Cellular. It will list the apps using data, with the most data use at the top of the list.
