Adding new payment methods via bank cards.

Anybody else every had similar problem as this?? I’ve got a new debit card so attempting to change my new payment methods. However, when trying to either add the new card information as a new payment method, or even trying to edit the current card information, my

phone tells me in both scenarios that the card info I’m trying to enter is already added and used on my account (but this is NOT true!).

Therefor, not only am I unable to make purchases on my phone, but I am also incapable of simply

downloading free apps, free games, music & shows,

etc.. considering my

Apple Account no longer has a main card on file to use is need be. I assume im denied the ability to download some of the free stuff, because at some point those things could cost money and if I don’t have a card on file then they won’t even try downloading the app at all. If anybody knows any more details about this situation, or how to get over & through it, or have ever dealt with similar situations only to come out on top in the end. Please contact me and let me know what it was your did so that you could continue using your phone and make purchases appropriately. Thank you!!
