how do I install itunes on my IPOD A1136?

I have WIN10 and ITunes installed but when I pug my IPODinto my computer the iPOD says not to disconnect and my E: drive is showing nothing on the IPOD.

Ipod A1136 wont connect to ITunes after pressing "Do not show again" Hi, I have an old Ipod A1136 that I am trying to reset. When I first connected it to my computer, I received a message in ITunes: ITunes does not have the software for IPod, Download Software? I accidentally pressed do not show again. Try iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows - Apple Community. Despite the title the same steps can help with an iPod classic.
