Ipod A1136 wont connect to ITunes after pressing "Do not show again"

Hi, I have an old Ipod A1136 that I am trying to reset. When I first connected it to my computer, I received a message in ITunes: ITunes does not have the software for IPod, Download Software? I accidentally pressed do not show again. Now I can´t find a way to get whatever software ITunes was trying to install. the problem is not the driver for the IPod, that´s up to date.

Use Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Reset Warnings, then try again.
