I'm unable to use any of the function keys (brightness, microphone, sound etc). I'm running Mojave on a Late-2013 27" iMac.
Any ideas?

Is this a new Magic Keyboard? They require a Mac running macOS 11.3 and a Late-2014 or newer iMac.

Not seeing that in my keyboard preferences
Make sure "Use F1, F2, etc. keys…" is unchecked in System Preferences > Keyboard.
Yes, it's a new one. Unfortunately, my Mac isn't. :(
Do the function keys work if the charging cable is plugged in?
My iMac is too old to connect the cable. Basically, my iMac is incompatible with the keyboard (so I’m realizing).
