You need to use iTunes, or Finder on a Mac running Catalina or later, to manage the content of an iPod.

Like the other reply said, you will need a computer such as a Mac, or a Windows PC with iTunes installed to manage your iPod's library and you can delete songs that you don't need anymore from there.
