Unable to pair AirPods to my iPhone

When I open them the connect to AirPods button shows up, but then it says “connection failed” and wont connect even after I hard reset them and reset my phone

Troubleshooting AirPods Pairing:

Disable Bluetooth on all but one device — the one device you want to synchronize with these with.
