I am running Monterey version 12.4 on my Mac, and use Gmail accounts within the Mail app. For the last several days, the list of email messages has been constantly flickering. The body of the emails when opened do not flicker, just the listing and the short amount of text that appears there. Curiously, I have two Gmail accounts and this is only happening with one of them. Any ideas how to fix this?

Have you tried rebooting....
To trouble shoot further you can:
—SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Takes a bit longer to get to the login screen, does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.
Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

Oops, I spoke too soon. Ten minutes after sending this reply, the flickering began again. I just deleted the email account from Mail, restarted, and added it back, but no help. I still get the flickering. As I said, it is not happening with my other Gmail account, nor on iPhone or iPad -- just on iMac. Any other ideas?
Yes, I had rebooted with no change. But, doing so thru Safe Mode seems to have resolved the issue. Thanks!
