Transfer of limited Mail folders between two Mac Airs

I have a new Mac Air iOS 12.3.1. I have an old Mac Air i5 running iOS 10.12.6. I have two folders of email in Mail on the old machine that I want to transfer to the new one. Just them. Nothing else. Ideas please?

Transferring email from an old to a new machine Hello all, I recently got a new machine (Mac mini) and I'm in the process of setting it up. The two machines are used for different jobs, so I don't want them to be identical in apps or content (so I can not use either migration assistant or "restore" from a Time Machine backup to copy info from the older to the newer. The old machine is a MacBook Pro running Catalina and the new one is a Mac mini running Ventura. One of the things I need to copy is Mail. I have seven different mail accounts/mailboxes and quite a few "On My Mac" mailboxes with important information categorised and sorted. So far, I have not been able to find clear instructions on how to do this and I'm hesitant to start manually copying folders from one computer to the other without being sure of what I am doing. Both machines are connected to the same iCloud account and Mail is checked on both. While both Calendar and Contacts are synchronised perfectly, no mail information is shared. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and I haven't figured it out..? If anyone has instructions or can tell me where I can find instructions on how to do this I would appreciated it very much! Thank you all so much in advance!

can I copy only sent email over to my new computer? I have multiple email addresses/folders. After migrating, I want to copy only one sent folder over to my new Mac (because I used the old Mac for 2 months after the original migration). Can I update just that one folder?

You can export the mailboxes to an external drive or usb-stick and import them on the other mac. If the mailboxes on both macs have the same name, I would change them on one mac before exporting Import or export mailboxes in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
