Mac will not sync Photos via iCloud

How about answering the question the person had? Instead of going completely silent. And if you don't know, just SAY YOU DON'T KNOW. But going silent shows your total lack of respect for your job and that of the customer you are attending. There are others that face the same dilemma and you've provided nothing but silly answers TonyCollinet.

I am having the same problem..

I look at the bottom of the Photos "uploading 25 items" This remained the same for 3 days. Mac plugged into power and set never to sleep. New photos on my iPhone will sync to iCloud and my iPad but not my MacBook. My Photos Libary is 63 gigs with 32000 photos and 1400 videos. Is this too big? My iPhone and iPad handling these volumes?

Every time you switch icloud off/on, you trigger a complete new sync of your whole library.

Depending on how big your libray is this can take days, or even weeks. How big is your library?

You need to let that complete before new images will sync.

Perhaps I have been away. We are not apple here, just users like you. We're not obligated to be on the forums 24/7 - nor is it possible.

And if you find my answers silly, clearly you'll not be interested in more input from me in any case. Good luck finding sensible answers.

How do you know it is not syncing? How long have you left it (since the last restart)?
