Smart playlist not syncing from MacBook to iPhone in Apple Music

I've created a smart playlist with 3 simple rules on my MacBook. It will not sync over to my iPhone. I have updated both systems and plugged in my phone. All the songs are available in Apple Music. How do I get my playlist to sync to my phone? Thanks.

Smart Playlist isn't synced from Mac to iPhone I created a Smart Playlist in Apple Music with the rules to take songs from other playlists and put them together into one. However, that playlists isn't being synced from my Mac to my iPhone. Other Smart Playlists are being synced and updated without much issue, and taking the songs from this playlist and putting them in a normal playlist works without issue too. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Apple Music Smart Playlists I installed Apple Music on both my iPhone 6pl and Windows laptop. I found the function “Smart Playlist” with rules on the laptop. When a song matched the rules of a playlist, it’s moved to that playlist (Still no problem). But when I open my phone, I notice that it’s still not in that Smart Playlist. The song matched the rule on Monday (on the laptop), but the same playlist on iPhone said “Updated Sunday”. I want to know if anyone tried the function. Can you tell me how to make it synced corectly, or how frequently Apple update the Smart Playlist. Thanks in advance

Smart Playlists not syncing changes to iphone over cloud updating. Hey All, So I recently started my Music app fresh with no tracks and subscribed to Apple Music. After creating a smart playlist with "Live Updating" on Mac I noticed that they do sync with my iPhone but only once(immediately after creation) and not after that. A few weeks passed and I noticed that the playlists were different on my Mac than the initial one. That is the normal behavior of the smart playlist. However, I noticed that the same playlist on my iPhone is still the initial version at the time of creation. Also, the last update time shows the creation date which is odd. Does anyone have the same issue with smart playlists? Can you tell me how to resolve the issue? I have tried manually changing the rules hoping it would trigger a sync with iPhone but no help. The only thing that worked was deleting and creating the same playlist which defeats the purpose of smart playlists. I mostly listen to music on my iPhone moving around with headphones on and it would be great if I could have my smart playlist live updating as they should.

Let me guess, one of the simple rules refers to another playlist. Smart playlists that depend on other lists are ineligible for iCloud Music Library.
