Turn off the voice feedback "new application added"

Whenever an application is added to my Applications folder, I get a voice saying "New application added". This has been going on perhaps since Monterey, and I have no found a way to turn it off.

It can be very annoying, if I have my mac in a public place, or just if I have a few updates from the App Store - each one will also say "new application added".

Can anyone tell me how to turn this off?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.0

Check that Hey Siri is enabled, and voice feedback is turned off, or just turn Siri off.
